Ravenna demonstration presented at Transportation Research Board in Washington

The Predictive Maintenance System for bus fleet developed and tested within the EBSF_2 Ravenna demonstration was presented at the TRB Annual Meeting in Washington on 9 January 2018.
Umberto Guida (UITP R&I Director) and Prof. Antonio Musso (Sapienza University of Rome) presented the system’s architecture and equipment developed. Preliminary tests’ results show that the system enables an extension of oil service intervals of about 10,000 km and reduces the number of breakdowns per vehicle. The Ravenna Demonstration is led by PLUSERVICE together with DIGIMOBEE, MEL-SYSTEMS, METATRONIX, STARTROMAGNA, UITP and UNIROMA1.
