EUSEW 2017 - exhibition

An exhibition will accompany the conference organised during the European Sustainable Energy Week. The stand of the EBSF_2 project, organised together with ELIPTIC and ZeEUS projects, will be located in the the Residence Palace from 20 to 22 June 2017.

The annual Policy Conference is a high point of EUSEW featuring leading figures and a diverse programme of sessions and side-events aimed at discussing and shaping Europe’s energy future.

EBSF_2 demo event on modular bus solutions

The Dresden Demonstration team is glad to invite you on 21 June 2017 in Dresden, Germany, to discuss the potential of modular bus solutions. The goal is to increase the flexibility of bus services, with regard to capacity, by testing a modular bus concept with the option to combine various bus segments at bus depots.The event will be hosted by the demonstration leader, the Fraunhofer IVI in collaboration with the demo partner HÜBNER.

The core of the demo is a technical solution for the walkable gangway system, developed by Hübner, which enables the operator to connect and separate the modular vehicle segments.The coupling concept will be performed on the AutoTram® Extra Grand of Fraunhofer IVI and evaluated in a controlled environment at the Fraunhofer test track, in cooperation with the local transport operator (DVB).

The event will take place at the Fraunhofer IVI (Zeunerstraße 38, 01067 Dresden, Germany), from 8.30 to 13.00. The technical visit will showcase the coupling and uncoupling system.
