The European Bus System of the Future 2 (EBSF_2) project capitalizes on the results of the previous EBSF projectAs the former, EBSF_2 is aimed at developing a new generation of urban bus systems by means of new vehicle technologies and infrastructures in combination with operational best practices, and testing them in operating scenarios within several European bus networks. 

The distinctive factor of EBSF_2 is the consortium’s ambition to improve the image of the bus through solutions for increased efficiency of the system...

UITP-BUSWORLD International Bus Conference

The Busworld will take place on 6 days from Friday, 20. October to Wednesday, 25. October 2017 in Kortrijk.The UITP International Bus Conference will take place on 23-24 October 2017 in conjunction with the Busworld Europe exhibition in Kortrijk.

Busworld is the biggest and oldest specialised exhibition for the coach and bus sector in the world. The biennial exhibition presents the latest developments of the industry and covers three sectors: coach and bus builders, accessories, public transportation and tourism. Also on the agenda are environmental matters. During the course of the exhibition there are several conferences discussing topics of interest to bus and coach manufacturers and operators.

TRANSPORT RESEARCH ARENA 2018

From 16-19 April 2018 Europes biggest Transport Research Conference, the Transport Research Arena, will take place in Vienna. Under the motto "a digital era for transport. solutions for society, economy and environment" about 3.000 international experts will discuss about the latest research results and future developments in mobility and transport.

The Transport Research Arena (TRA), initiated in 2006, takes place every two years in another European city. The TRA is supported by the European Commission, the European Technology Platforms ERTRAC (European Road Transport Research Advisory Council), ERRAC (European Rail Research Advisory Council), WATERBORNE as well as CEDR (Conference of European Directors of Roads) and ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration).
